Job Description

FAENA The Red Sea is seeking a passionate and guest-focused Spa Retail Specialist to join our Spa & Wellness team. This role is responsible for creating exceptional retail experiences that inspire guests to continue their wellness journey beyond their spa visit. Working within the Spa Reception and Retail Boutique, the Spa Retail Specialist will provide personalised product recommendations, promote luxury skincare and wellness collections, and drive retail performance through authentic guest engagement and exceptional service. The ideal candidate combines a passion for wellness, beauty, fashion, and luxury hospitality with strong sales and relationship-building skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests to the Spa Boutique and provide a warm, personalised retail experience.
  • Recommend skincare, wellness products, apparel, and lifestyle items based on guest preferences and needs.
  • Promote home-care products and wellness solutions that complement spa treatments.
  • Build meaningful relationships with guests through exceptional service and product expertise.
  • Achieve individual and departmental retail sales targets.
  • Identify opportunities to increase retail revenue through consultative selling and upselling techniques.
  • Support retail promotions, product launches, seasonal campaigns, and wellness activations.
  • Maintain accurate processing of retail transactions and sales records.
  • Ensure retail displays and merchandising standards are maintained at all times.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment requirements.
  • Conduct opening and closing procedures for the retail boutique.
  • Assist with stock counts, inventory management, and receiving procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and presentation of the retail and reception areas.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of all spa retail products and wellness brands.
  • Collaborate with therapists and spa team members to identify retail opportunities and enhance the guest experience.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in luxury retail, beauty, wellness, spa, fashion, or hospitality environments.
  • Previous experience within a luxury hotel, resort, spa, wellness destination, or premium retail boutique preferred.
  • Strong understanding of skincare, wellness products, luxury retail, and lifestyle brands.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and consultative sales skills.
  • Passion for wellness, beauty, fashion, and luxury hospitality.
  • Professional presentation and grooming standards.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Experience using POS systems and retail sales platforms.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to service excellence.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous.
  • Qualification in Hospitality, Retail, Beauty, Wellness, or a related field is preferred.
