- Supervise and guide a team of technicians
- Carry out and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and building issues
- Be hands‑on — jump in when needed to support repairs and urgent tasks
- Support events, activations, and high‑occupancy periods (setup, standby, breakdown)
- Coordinate and liaise with contractors and vendors
- Ensure compliance with fire safety, HSE, and local regulations
- Monitor spare parts, inventory, and maintenance logs
- Respond promptly to guest and operational issues
Qualifications
- Experience in hotel engineering, facilities, or building maintenance
- Currently a Senior Engineer / Duty Engineer / Assistant Engineering Manager
- Strong technical knowledge in electrical systems and building services
- Proven ability to supervise or lead technicians
- having Fire Safety Manager certificate will be helpful
- Hands‑on mindset — willing to get involved in daily operations
- Reliable, proactive, and solutions‑oriented
- Comfortable working flexible hours when needed (especially for events)
- Good communication skills with a service mindset
