The rooftop of Hyde Melbourne Place will be transformed with warm tones, long tables, generous spaces for relaxed communal dining and an all-new Mediterranean-inspired food and beverage menu.

Job Description

We’re on the hunt for a Restaurant Reservations Host who knows how to make every interaction shine.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Guest Experience Manager with incoming reservations via phone, email and online booking platforms
Greeting guests and ensuring a smooth reservation experience
Coordinating table allocations to maximise guest satisfaction and venue flow
Communicating special requests and booking details to the wider team
Maintaining accurate reservation records and waitlists
Assisting with general host duties during service
Providing prompt, friendly and professional customer service at all times
Support the Management team in ensuring a seamless customer service experience

Qualifications

About You

Previous experience in a host, reservations or guest services role (hospitality experience highly regarded)
Strong communication and organisational skills
The ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
Experience using booking systems (e.g., SevenRooms, OpenTable)
A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for guests
Flexibility to work across all service periods (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and weekends and public holidays to support operations.
