Job Description
The Restaurant Manager has independent responsibility for running the restaurant and makes sure that the staff have everything a strong team needs. Together with the 2 existing supervisors, we are looking forward to welcoming you to Tiger Lily as our new Restaurant Manager on the 2nd of January.
How does your working day look like …
- You’ll take care of resource planning, lead the team and support your colleagues in their personal and professional development
- You’ll make sure that our guests aren’t just well-fed, but also happy and delighted
- You’ll take responsibility for the budget, ensure correct billing and smooth administrative procedures
- Together with our external concept partner, you’ll help develop the restaurant as a business and drive it forward in an entrepreneurial way
- You’ll be in charge of the service and administration of the restaurant - being present during the busy days and evenings to guide and inspire your team on the floor
- You’ll also supervise the Nomad Day Bar (café), ensuring a consistent guest experience and seamless cooperation between the teams
- Together with the Banquet Service Coordinator, you’ll ensure smooth and memorable events and functions, providing guidance and support throughout.
- You’ll support your colleagues with a winning smile whenever, once again, all the guests pile in and order at the same time - and still keep your head above water when plans suddenly change
Qualifications
Your personality counts more than your CV…
- You have gained first management experience in a similar function and speak fluent English.
- You can inspire your colleagues as well as your guests. You also have routine in service organization and are skilled in creating duty rosters
- You are enthusiastic about good food and drinks and like to discover new concepts
- You are a doer - and openly admit when you have done something wrong
- You bring not only your skills, but also your character to the table
