Job Description
JO&JOE is opening its new hostel in Auckland! And is looking for its next Night Audit / Cleaner.
Come and write a page in the history of JO&JOE, by being part of the opening team! The Night Audit / Cleaner is a dual-role night owl who keeps our spaces spotless and our records sharp while the city sleeps.

None of these night-time combos will scare you:
Combo 1: Perform nightly cleaning of public areas, restrooms, and back-of-house spaces to maintain JO&JOE’s high standards.
Combo 2: Complete end-of-day financial audits, reconcile transactions, and prepare reports for the morning team.
Combo 3: Assist with late check-ins and guest queries, always with a warm and professional attitude.
Combo 4: Monitor safety and security throughout the property, reporting any incidents or concerns.
Combo 5: Restock supplies and ensure all areas are ready for the next day.
Combo 6: Maintain accurate records and follow procedures for cash handling and system updates.
Combo 7: Be a reliable, independent team member who thrives in the quiet hours.
Qualifications
Because you’ve got it in you:
- Experience in cleaning, hospitality, or front office roles (bonus if you’ve done night shifts before).
- Strong attention to detail and comfort with basic accounting or audit tasks.
- Ability to work independently and stay focused.
- Calm, friendly, and professional under pressure.
- Strict adherence to hygiene, safety, and security protocols.
- A desire to learn and grow.
YOUR LITTLE EXTRAS ARE:
- Experience with property management systems is a plus.
- Language required: English
