We are looking for a Plumber to join the pre-opening of SLS The Red Sea.

Ennismore, with its luxury brand SLS Hotels, is currently opening a magnificent project in the oasis that is The Red Sea. SLS The Red Sea is planned to open in 2025.

Job Description

At SLS Red Sea, every detail matters—even the ones guests never see. Behind the bold design and seamless luxury experience, our Engineering team keeps the property running flawlessly. We’re looking for a skilled Plumber to join us in ensuring comfort, safety, and efficiency across the hotel’s water and sanitation systems.

In this role, you’ll handle everything from routine maintenance and troubleshooting to installations and emergency repairs. Whether it’s keeping water flowing smoothly, fixing a drainage issue, or installing new fixtures, your expertise will help us deliver the uninterrupted guest experience that defines SLS.

Main Responsibilties

  • Responding quickly to plumbing service requests across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
  • Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on water supply lines, drainage networks, pumps, valves, and fixtures.
  • Installing and testing bathroom and kitchen fittings, from basins and mixers to water heaters.
  • Diagnosing faults, replacing defective components, and ensuring all connections are leak-free and safe.
  • Clearing clogs and restoring flow in drains and sewage lines.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings to plan installations and ensure efficient routing.
  • Supporting water conservation efforts and sustainability initiatives.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and contractors to complete projects on time and to brand standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as a plumber, preferably within the hospitality or facility management sector. 
  • Technical certification in plumbing or a related trade is desirable. 
  • Solid knowledge of plumbing systems, installation techniques, and troubleshooting. 
  • Proficient with relevant tools, measuring devices, and repair equipment. 
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals. 
  • Safety-conscious with a strong understanding of hotel engineering standards and environmental practices. 
  • Capable of working independently while supporting a collaborative and guest-oriented environment.
