The Island Chapter: Two Openings

We’re bringing LUURA to Paros with two distinctive hotels:

  • Luura Paros Cliff – Opening April 2026 with 39 suites, two Rikas-curated restaurants, and a host of spaces to explore.
  • Luura Paros Sand – Opening the following year with 45 suites and vibrant F&B venues that capture the island’s spirit.

Born of curiosity, raised on culture, these two properties are an invitation to uncover the unexpected — from sea-view suites to buzzing beach clubs — in settings that feel intriguingly unfamiliar yet deeply comfortable.

Job Description

Your Role in the Story

As our Cluster Director of People & Culture, you’ll be at the heart of shaping the teams and culture that bring our two unique hotels to life. You’ll ensure every touchpoint — from recruitment and development to engagement and wellbeing — reflects our values and supports both our people and our business success.

This role is about people leadership with a creative edge: building talent, fostering a culture that scales with our growth, and creating an environment where every team member contributes to making LUURA unforgettable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all People & Culture practices, policies, and procedures comply with local legislation, industry standards, and company values.
  • Prepare monthly reports, set budgets and forecasts, and contribute to annual business planning with the leadership team.
  • Develop staffing plans, liaise with agencies, and lead recruitment, assessment, and selection of management and key roles.
  • Design competitive wage and salary systems, oversee payroll and benefits, and review market trends to attract and retain talent.
  • Act as an internal consultant for grievance resolution, collective bargaining, and employee representation, ensuring fair and consistent practices.
  • Implement performance management systems, review promotions, and prepare succession plans for middle and senior management.
  • Identify training needs, design and deliver programs, and equip employees with new skills for evolving business demands.
  • Foster a strong workplace culture through communication, recognition programs, newsletters, and staff social activities.
  • Oversee compliance with health and safety regulations, employee welfare initiatives, and staff facilities.
  • Recruit, coach, and mentor P&C team members, conduct performance reviews, and build high-performing, professional teams.
  • Lead regular departmental meetings, ensure open communication channels, and drive cross-department alignment.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by management, adapting to evolving organizational needs.

Qualifications

Who We’re Looking For

  • Minimum of five years at a similar role in luxury hotel.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Highly professional presentations and communication (oral and written) skills.
  • English fluency.
  • Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to perform critical analysis.
  • Naturally warm, friendly, and attentive.
  • Excited to work in a fast-moving, people-first environment.
  • Passionate about culture, art, and authentic hospitality.
  • A team player who thrives on collaboration and connection.
