Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Receiving Agent to join our team in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As a Receiving Agent, you will play a crucial role in our organisation's inventory management and logistics operations, ensuring the smooth flow of goods and accurate record-keeping.

  • Receive and inspect all incoming goods, verifying quantity and quality against purchase orders
  • Notify relevant departments upon arrival of goods
  • Properly secure received items in designated storage areas
  • Maintain accurate records of received goods using our inventory management system
  • Implement and follow first-in, first-out (FIFO) principles for stock rotation
  • Process and file completed purchase orders according to established procedures
  • Fulfil department requisitions in a timely and accurate manner
  • Assist with regular inventory counts and reconciliations
  • Maintain a clean and organised receiving area
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient warehouse operations
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines in the warehouse

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role within logistics, warehousing, or inventory management
  • Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in using inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively
  • Physical capability to lift and move items as required
  • Basic mathematical skills for inventory calculations and reconciliations
  • Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and best practices
  • Proactive approach to work with a strong sense of ownership
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Knowledge of FIFO principles and inventory management techniques
