Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technician - Spool to join our team in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting spool machinery in our manufacturing facility.
- Operate and monitor spool winding equipment to ensure efficient and accurate production
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on spool machinery to minimise downtime
- Set up and adjust machines according to product specifications and production schedules
- Inspect finished spools for quality and adherence to specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with spool equipment
- Maintain accurate records of production, maintenance, and quality control activities
- Collaborate with other team members to optimise production processes
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity
Qualifications
- Proficiency in spool operation and maintenance
- Demonstrated knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong familiarity with safety protocols and procedures
- Excellent problem-solving skills and hand-eye coordination
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience with various types of spools and winding equipment
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent
- Vocational training in mechanical or industrial technology (preferred)
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Industrial Machinery Operation) are advantageous
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials handling
- Willingness to work in Phu Quoc, Vietnam
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
