Job Description

We are seeking an organised and efficient Receiving Officer to join our team in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations, ensuring the accurate receipt, inspection, and documentation of incoming goods.

  • Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying quantities and condition of items against purchase orders and shipping documents
  • Inspect received goods for damage or discrepancies and report any issues to the appropriate personnel
  • Enter accurate data into the inventory management system and maintain detailed records of all received items
  • Organise and store received goods in designated areas of the warehouse
  • Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and reconciliations
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth warehouse operations
  • Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, when necessary
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Participate in maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment

Qualifications

  • Secondary school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within receiving, warehouse, or logistics
  • Proficiency in using inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent record-keeping skills
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem-solving skills and capacity to work independently
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures
  • Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes
  • Forklift certification (desirable)
  • Physical ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 kg
  • Ability to work comfortably in a tropical climate
