Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised and efficient Housekeeping Storekeeper to join our team in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our inventory, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining accurate stock records.

  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods and materials
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using computerised inventory management systems
  • Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies
  • Process requisitions and issue materials to various departments
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of all items, including any hazardous materials
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to maintain optimal stock levels
  • Implement and maintain an organised storage system for easy retrieval of items
  • Assist in the preparation of periodic inventory reports
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the storeroom
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for inventory management processes
  • Operate warehouse equipment as needed, such as forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Maintain a clean and orderly storage area

Qualifications

  • Secondary school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within a warehouse or inventory management environment
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Physical ability to lift and move items weighing up to 20 kg
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations in warehouse operations
  • Knowledge of stock rotation and inventory control methods
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks)
  • Basic maths skills for inventory calculations
  • Ability to work efficiently in a tropical climate
  • Warehouse management certification (preferred)
