Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate Mixologist to join our team at our vibrant establishment in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As a Mixologist, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional cocktails and providing an unforgettable experience to our guests.
- Create innovative and classic cocktails using a wide range of spirits, liqueurs, and fresh ingredients
- Develop new cocktail recipes and contribute to seasonal menu updates
- Provide friendly and attentive service to guests, offering recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain a clean and organised bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Manage inventory and stock levels of bar supplies and ingredients
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to create complementary food and drink pairings
- Train and mentor junior bar staff on cocktail preparation techniques and customer service
- Stay up-to-date with current mixology trends and techniques
- Participate in cocktail competitions and industry events to promote the establishment
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Mixologist or Bartender in a high-volume establishment
- Extensive knowledge of spirits, liqueurs, and classic cocktail recipes
- Creative flair for developing unique and innovative cocktail recipes
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail in cocktail preparation and presentation
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and enthusiastic demeanour
- Proficiency in basic maths for accurate measurements and inventory management
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen and service staff
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food and beverage service
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (preferred)
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Vietnamese or other languages is a plus
