Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Front Office Supervisor to join our team at our luxurious resort in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As a Front Office Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth operations in our bustling tropical island setting.
- Lead and motivate the front office team, fostering a collaborative and customer-focused environment
- Organise and oversee daily tasks, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality service delivery
- Coach and develop team members, sharing knowledge and best practices
- Handle guest complaints and concerns promptly and professionally
- Make decisive operational decisions to maintain service standards
- Manage shift registrations, administration, and evaluations
- Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Identify areas for improvement and implement innovative solutions
- Monitor and contribute to the department's performance goals
- Maintain a welcoming and organised front desk area
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a front office role within the hospitality industry
- Proven leadership and coaching abilities
- Extensive knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS), particularly Opera Cloud
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexibly across various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights, and weekends
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Proficiency in multitasking and working accurately under pressure
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to guest satisfaction
- Fluency in English; additional language skills, particularly Vietnamese, are highly desirable
- Hospitality or tourism-related qualifications are advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Enthusiasm for delivering exceptional guest experiences in a tropical resort setting
