Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Supervisor to join our team in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing our credit department, overseeing credit evaluations, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- Lead and supervise a team of credit analysts, providing guidance and support in their day-to-day activities
- Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to minimise financial risks
- Analyse complex credit applications and make informed decisions on credit approvals
- Monitor and evaluate the credit portfolio, identifying potential risks and recommending mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth credit operations and resolve any issues
- Prepare and present comprehensive credit reports to senior management
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, financial regulations, and best practices in credit management
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training to team members
- Liaise with clients, financial institutions, and other stakeholders as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in credit management or a similar role
- Proven track record in team leadership and supervision
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex financial information
- Excellent knowledge of credit policies, procedures, and risk assessment techniques
- Proficiency in financial analysis and credit evaluation
- Familiarity with credit management software and Microsoft Office suite
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
- Professional certification in credit management (e.g., CCP - Certified Credit Professional) is preferred
- Understanding of Vietnamese financial market and regulations is advantageous
- Fluency in both Vietnamese and English is essential
