Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and efficient AV Technician to join our team in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As an AV Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining audio-visual equipment for various events and presentations.

  • Set up, operate, and maintain audio-visual equipment, including projectors, sound systems, and video conferencing tools
  • Provide technical support for meetings, conferences, and other events
  • Troubleshoot and resolve AV-related issues promptly and efficiently
  • Collaborate with event organisers and presenters to ensure smooth execution of AV requirements
  • Perform regular maintenance and updates on AV equipment
  • Manage inventory and recommend equipment upgrades when necessary
  • Assist in the creation and editing of audio and video content as needed
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations when handling equipment

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in AV technology or a related field
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining various audio-visual equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Basic networking and IT knowledge
  • Familiarity with different audio and video formats
  • Experience with presentation software and content creation tools
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Secondary education or equivalent
  • Relevant AV certifications (e.g., InfoComm CTS) are desirable
  • Understanding of event production and live performances
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
  • Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 20 kg
