Job Description
We are seeking an organised and efficient F&B Co-ordinator to join our team in the beautiful island of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As an integral part of our food and beverage operations, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day activities, maintaining high standards of service, and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
- Coordinate daily F&B operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and quality control
- Assist in menu planning and pricing strategies to optimise profitability whilst maintaining customer satisfaction
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality ingredients and beverages
- Monitor and maintain proper food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Organise and oversee special events, banquets, and catering services
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and service teams to ensure seamless communication and service delivery
- Conduct regular staff training sessions to improve product knowledge and service standards
- Prepare and analyse reports on F&B performance, costs, and guest satisfaction
- Stay informed about local food regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in F&B coordination or a related role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred
- Food Safety Certification (e.g., HACCP) is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with inventory management systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability in menu planning, cost control, and inventory management
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure
- Knowledge of Vietnamese cuisine and local food regulations is highly advantageous
- Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Vietnamese or other languages is a plus
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required
