Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager Security to join our team in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing our security programme to safeguard our property, guests, visitors, and employees.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies to protect the property and its occupants
  • Manage and lead the security team, ensuring efficient delegation of tasks and responsibilities
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and analyse security challenges to develop innovative solutions
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless and secure experience for guests and employees
  • Oversee the maintenance and upgrade of security systems and equipment
  • Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents and emergencies
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations related to security
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on security matters
  • Conduct security awareness training for staff members
  • Continuously improve security protocols and procedures to adapt to evolving threats

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in a security management role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic approach to security challenges
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English (knowledge of Vietnamese is a plus)
  • Proficiency in security management software and systems
  • In-depth knowledge of security protocols, risk assessment, and crisis management
  • Familiarity with Vietnamese security regulations and cultural norms
  • Ability to think creatively and develop innovative security solutions
  • Strong decision-making skills, especially under pressure
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organisational abilities
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing a safe and welcoming environment
  • Relevant security certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP) are desirable
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
