Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Supervisor with Arabic language proficiency to join our finance team at SO/ Uptown Dubai. In this role, you will oversee the accounts receivable function, ensuring efficient and accurate financial operations while leading a team of professionals.

  • Manage and supervise the accounts receivable team, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance
  • Oversee the full accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve cash flow and reduce outstanding receivables
  • Analyze financial data and prepare detailed reports for senior management
  • Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and accounting standards
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training to team members
  • Optimize accounts receivable processes and procedures for increased efficiency
  • Manage relationships with key clients and handle escalated issues

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role
  • Proficiency in Arabic (speaking, reading, and writing) and fluency in English
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and practices, particularly in accounts receivable
  • Expertise in financial software and ERP systems
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
  • Knowledge of UAE financial regulations and accounting standards
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement and implementing best practices
